HTTP Sink Integration

We’ve added a new integration that enables streaming of data from select M2X devices out over HTTP via POST request.

An integration of type http_sink will direct M2X to forward all incoming datapoints and waypoints from selected devices to a specific callback_url of your choice.

Example

The following is a sample cURL command that demonstrates how to create an HTTP Sink Integration via the M2X API:

curl -i -X POST https://api-m2x.att.com/v2/integrations -H "X-M2X-KEY: 7611hg8391k834829gkff640j8j990i2" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d "{ \"name\": \"Sample Integration\", \"description\": \"My first integration\", \"type\": \"http_sink\", \"config\": { \"callback_url\": \"https://www.example.com/my_endpoint\" }, \"selectors\": { \"devices\": [ \"90e859acab77b43baec49868941c81d5\", \"17ffc61f2b19065e8bf79360c8497780\" ] } }"
